  • Details
We sourced these beautiful reusable drinking glasses for a limited edition summer lineup and we really couldn't be happier about the look or function of these glasses.

Made with 100% recycled glass, these easily repurpose into drinking glasses or beautiful storage jars. We added the label to the natural cork lid to allow for easy removal and to not take away from the aesthetic of the candle.

When your candle is finished, simple remove the metal wick holder and any wick left over. Gently melt the wax by sitting the jar in a hot water bath and wiping out the wax. Wash your new glass in hot soapy water or the dishwasher and use as you would any drinking glass, storage container or other glass vessel (so many uses). Do not place the cork top in water or a dishwasher, wipe with a damp cloth and allow to air dry.

Select your choice of scent and vessel from the drop down menu.

Middle Note – Jasmine, Cocoa Butter, Sandalwood
Bottom Note – Amber, Cedar, Musk

    ⚫️Watermelon + Mint

Sweet and Juicy Watermelon balanced with fresh and bright garden mint, delicate notes of ozone and rounded out with sea salt notes.

    Top Note - Watermelon

    Bottom - Ozone, Dry

    ⚫️Chai Tea

Warm Exotic Spices mingles with Strong Black Tea and Sweet Cream. If you were a fan of our Black Flame candle this fall...this is the same scent!

    ⚫️Southern Sweet Tea

Sun Steeped Black Tea, Bergamot, Cane Sugar and just a touch of citrus...just like we make for front porch sipping out of mason jars.

This candle smells just like the sweet Southern classic tea. Sweet and fruity with strong tea and sugar. I remembering drinking "iced tea" for the first time away from home as a kid and learning that most people in Indiana, including restaurants, don't put sugar in their iced tea. These days I substitute sweetener for the sugar, sometimes I make that simple syrup I grew up on.

    ABOUT OUR PROCESS

Our ingredients are Responsibly sourced, American grown, Vegan, Carbon Neutral, Phthalate, Palm and Cherblty Free.

We use a special SOY WAX made from 100% Midwest Soy Beans, grown mainly in Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky. Most of these beans were in the field less than a year before you lit the candle made from them. Our soy wax is a renewable and sustainable crop that doesn’t require deforestation or oil supplies, it is only limited by how much our farmers want to grow!

Our wicks are patented Crackling Wicks from the Wooden Wick Company. American Grown, hand cut wooden wicks are made with another business model we support:

The Wooden Wick Co partnered with TREES FOR THE FUTURE. For Every $100 of Wooden Wicks sold, one tree is planted. This Year to Date, The Wooden Wick Co. & Community has planted 10,000 Trees!

TREES PLANTED WITH TREES FOR THE FUTURE:
    – Create educational opportunities for children
    – Empower Women
    – Build strong communities
    – Permanently increase the income of farmers
    – Help families to feed themselves
    – Provide permanent and seasonal work

Our tints are manufactured using vegetable oils or ingredients extracted from vegetable oils. These new formulations are now Prop 65 and REACH Compliant.

Our main jars are glass Mason jars, shipped carbon neutral and are recyclable and reusable!!

We locally source biodegradable reNature packing peanuts (dissolve in water) and post consumer made boxes for our shipping needs.

We have a way to go, but we are striving to meet our own person goals for a completely locally sourced, handmade, eco friendly craft.

Our candles are an affordable luxury you can FEEL GOOD about adding to your home. We use simple clean ingredients, minimal labeling and packaging and focus on the product in the jar.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How do I trim and light my wooden wick?

Check out our blog for care and burning tips
    www.teresalynns.com/blog

If lighting seems difficult, the wick is too far above the surface of the wax when the candle is initially lit. Always light at the wax level, not the top of the wick.

Solution: Make sure the wick is trimmed to be no longer than 1/8” – 3/16” / 6.4mm – 4.8mm above the wax. This seems counterintuitive, as we think a longer wick will make a larger flame, but it will not. The longer the wick, the harder it is for the wax to flow up to the top.
(The Wooden Wick patented wood wick company).

    Are Soy Candles Safe?

Now let’s talk about wax. Unless you are eating your candles (which you shouldn’t be) you don’t need to worry about them being produced with “Organic Soy wax”. This is good because organic soy wax doesn’t exist.

The process of converting the oil into a wax itself renders the wax ineligible for organic certification. Even if a manufacture used the 5-9% of soybeans grown in the USA that are Organic Bean, the process itself makes them not organic.
Should you worry about this? The simple answer is no, soy wax is safe. You should worry about a company that claims their soy candles are organic. We use wax made with only Renewable Midwest Grown Soybeans.

We use only phthalate free fragrance oils and essential oil blends in our products.

What do I do if my item is received damaged or is lost in transit?

We are happy to assist you with filing a claim with USPS if you received a damaged item or your package is lost.

FILING CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES is now the responsibility of the customer as USPS has changed their policies and requires the BUYER to present the damaged package along with proof of payment from your financial institute (all things we do not have).

Note: You must create an account with the USPS if you don’t already have one.

***When filing a claim with USPS, the damaged article, container, packaging, and any other items received must be presented to the Postal Service for inspection along with proof of payment from your financial institution. Be certain to safely save the entire box, label and all the contents.**

    Return to Sender packages

Packages received back to us as RTS (Return to Sender) may be resent at your request by purchasing a postage listing customized for your parcel and verified address.

We are not responsible for invalid addresses, forwarded mail or refused parcels and will not refund or pay return shipping.

Return postage will be calculated at our actual cost, not the discounted rate of $9.00 we offer on original purchases.

We will contact you via messages with a link to the shipping listing which will be active for 100 days.

After the 100 day period the listing will expire and the parcel contents will be donated to a local charity when appropriate.

    Allergy and sensitivities

We use products that may be made with nuts, dairy, soy, plant materials, essential oils and fragrances.

There is always the possibility for cross exposure within our studio/lab. People with sensitivities or allergies should consider avoiding scented and fragrances products.

Many of our item listings will include the focal scents/oils we use. We do not provide inclusive lists of our essentials oils used in all of our blends and formulas as many are proprietary (trade secrets) combinations specific to our brand.

How long do our candles burn?

The burn time for our candles varies based different variables, such as wax type. wick size, fragrance and type of vessel used. For smaller candles with smaller wicks, they burn an average 7-9 hours per ounce of wax. Larger candles may have large wicks which uses more wax to burn. They burn about 5-7 hours per ounce. Our speciality candles with beeswax blends may burn 7-9 hours per ounce, while our tea lights average 5-6 hours each.
Following our candle care and instruction guide will give you the best burn from each candle. Be sure to read and follow your candle care card included with your order.

A great candle in a cute little bee glass! And it smells sweet, soft, and fresh even when it's not lit. Thank you so much!
