The Fall classic we all wait for from that coffee joint we all love. Rich and robust espresso, married with pumpkin and spice, topped off with decadent cream and sugar. This is as close to the real thing as you will find in a candle.

We made this years coffee scent with amazing beans, Rocko, from our friends at Iron Bean Coffee Company!

This hand blended candle is married with pure soy wax made from responsibly grown Midwest soy beans and lit with patented Lumetique wicks with booster wick. These candles provide a robust crackle and clean, even burn every time they are lit.

We hand make our candles from the very beginning to the final touches. Our scents are custom blends added to Midwest soy wax flakes and cooked at the perfect controlled temperatures. We even control the cooling to create the perfect frosting on our candle finishes. Finally we trim the wicks and add our own labels we print in shop. We control every step of the process to ensure the perfect illumination every time and consistency of fragrance.

This fragrance is infused with phthalate free fragrance oil and natural essential oils

ABOUT OUR PROCESS

Our ingredients are Responsibly sourced, American grown, Vegan, Carbon Neutral, Cruelty Free and Handmade in Indiana.

We use a special SOY WAX made from 100% Midwest Soy Beans, grown mainly in Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky. Most of these beans were in the field less than a year before you lit the candle made from them. Our soy wax is a renewable and sustainable crop that doesn’t require deforestation or oil supplies, it is only limited by how much our farmers want to grow!

Our wicks are patented Crackling Wicks from the Wooden Wick Company. American Grown, hand cut WOOD WICKS are made with another business model we support:

The Wooden Wick Co partnered with TREES FOR THE FUTURE. For Every $100 of Wooden Wicks sold, one tree is planted. This Year to Date, The Wooden Wick Co. & Community has planted 10,000 Trees!

TREES PLANTED WITH TREES FOR THE FUTURE:
– Create educational opportunities for children
– Empower Women
– Build strong communities
– Permanently increase the income of farmers
– Help families to feed themselves
– Provide permanent and seasonal work

Our tints are manufactured using vegetable oils or ingredients extracted from vegetable oils. These new formulations are now Prop 65 and REACH Compliant.

Our jars are made just next door in Lancaster, Ohio by Anchor Hocking since 1905. They are recyclable and reusable!!

We source biodegradable peanuts (dissolve in water) and post consumer made boxes for our shipping needs.

We have a way to go, but we are striving to meet our own person goals for a completely locally sourced, handmade, eco friendly craft.

Our candles are an affordable luxury you can FEEL GOOD about adding to your home. We use simple clean ingredients, minimal labeling and packaging and focus on the product in the jar.

Frequently Asked Questions

My wick is difficult to light, or won’t stay lit the first few times.

The wick is too far above the surface of the wax when the candle is initially lit – Solution: Make sure the wick is trimmed to be no longer than 1/4” – 3/16” / 6.4mm – 4.8mm above the wax. This is counterintuitive, as we think a longer wick will make a larger flame, but it will not. The longer the wick, the harder it is for the wax to flow up to the top.

Are Soy Candles Safe?

Now let’s talk about wax. Unless you are eating your candles (which you shouldn’t be) you don’t need to worry about them being produced with “Organic Soy wax”. This is good because organic soy wax doesn’t exist.

The process of converting the oil into a wax itself renders the wax ineligible for organic certification. Even if a manufacture used the 5-9% of soybeans grown in the USA that are Organic Bean, the process itself makes them not organic.
Should you worry about this? The simple answer is no, soy wax is safe.

You should worry about a company that claims their soy candles are organic.
We use wax made with only Midwest Grown Soybeans.
